Our Story
Rooted in purpose. Growing through play.
🌱 Our Story – By Poonam & Sonalika Sabharwal

SouLilly is a heartfelt journey shared between a mother and daughter, bound by a common dream: to bring back the joy of meaningful play and education into every child’s life.
It all started over heartfelt conversations at the kitchen table between me, Sonalika, and my mother, Poonam –a woman whose life has been a quiet evolution shaped by compassion and resilience.
Back in her early days, Poonam taught at her own mother’s school. Even after becoming a full-time homemaker and raising three children, her love of education never wavered. She found purpose in volunteering to teach underprivileged young girls—sharing knowledge, building confidence, and sowing the seeds of self-belief. Her story is one of resilience, warmth, and lifelong learning.
My path was different. I spent 7+ years in the world of Public Relations with brands such as Just Herbs, Euro Kids, Rebel Foods, Smytten, ITC (FMCG), VIP, and more. But even amid the corporate hustle, I found myself pulled towards something deeper. I’ve always believed that education shapes not just the mind but the soul. That belief took me to Egypt, where I volunteered to teach English to children for two months. That experience of guiding young minds with just basic tools and a lot of heart—stirred something inside me.
We realised we shared a common purpose: to nurture the early years of childhood through play-based, value-driven learning.
That’s how SouLilly was born. A blend of my mother’s timeless wisdom and my global experiences. Together, we have poured our ideas, values, and hearts into creating a brand that champions goal-oriented play, eco-conscious living, and Montessori-inspired learning tools.
